Virtual Learning course offered for new Beekeepers in February

The Bennington County Beekeepers Club will again offer a free beginner course for new beekeepers. Learn about the interesting life of honey bees, the skills and equipment needed to care for them and the many challenges they face.

This is a wonderful opportunity and resource to meet and learn from seasoned beekeepers in our area. The course covers setting up a hive, locating it and finding where to get your bees.

From there, you will learn how to inspect your hive, caring for your bees, pests and predators of the bees, harvesting and extracting honey, and products your hive can produce.

Class size is limited, so reserve your space today.

Classes will meet on Thursdays virtually via Zoom, February 11, 22, 28th from

6:30-9:00 PM.
