Welcome to the new website/blog for the Bennington Beekeepers Assocation. It's winter in the bee yard, but everyone is looking forward to spring. I rapped on my hives today and heard that buzzing that signals all is well.
This year's beekeeping short course will be held from 7-9 p.m. in the Crispe Room at the Vermont Veteran's Home on the following dates:

Feb. 17
Mar. 3
Mar. 10
The course includes information on setting up a hive, installing a package and other ways to get bees, spring, summer and fall management, pathogens and pests, and apitherapy.
